Hello All,
I know there have been some questions as to the lack of daily news over the past couple of weeks. Let me say how sorry I am that no one knew what was going on.
After close to a year with Inside Mac Radio, I have decided that my time and energy will be better spent on other endeavors. I have thoroughly enjoyed bringing you the news, the on air interactions with Scott Sheppard, Laura Burstein, Sam Levin, and Brad Wright, and the countless guests with whom I have been able to speak/work during my time on the show.
But most especially, I appreciate the support and feedback that I have gotten from you guys and gals across the country and around the world. Everything from the votes on Podcast Alley to the well wishes for my mother on her birthday to the posts on the IMR forums… I cannot tell you how much all of this has meant to me.
Is this the end of the line? Not by a long shot. This is an incredibly exciting time to be involved in media of any sort. Old media will need to be reinvented, while new media will bring new voices to new audiences that never would have connected otherwise. I am very far from finished in this space…
In other words, stay tuned… whatever that means these days. Check for more updates here. There is more to come.
Finally, let me say – not for the last time I assure you – all of you rock.
Ken

This is disappointing
Ken, I really enjoyed your IMR Daily News, with your unique and entertaining delivery. It was always much more than "just the facts". I (and your other fans) look forward to hearing you soon on a new podcast. I wish you well in your future endeavors.-- Blair
ps: I don't know if you remember, but it was me who called the IMR Weekly show on December 31. I'm glad I had a chance to talk to you and congratulate you on the IMR shows (Daily News and Weekly show).

Aw Shit!
You will be missed! The daily news WAS IMR. I hope that you do whatever makes you happy. I hope for me, and I'm sure a lot of other people, it includes the news in some other fashion. There is no reason to subscribe to IMR any longer:(Brian

Missing you already
Sorry that you chose to leave. I've been listening for the past six months or so and found the news very informative. Reading between the lines I get the impression there's a larger story to tell, but that we'll have to wait for your memoirs for that! Good luck in whatever you do next.Regards

Unsubscribe to IMR
Anyone who is upset with Ken and Laura leaving should UNSUBSCRIBE to Inside Mac. That is the only way Scott will get it through his head that they were such an important part of the show.January 20 2006, 01:04:53 UTC 6 years ago
Umm....
Let me say -- for the record -- I am not encouraging anyone to unsubscribe from IMR. The cool thing about podcasting is you don't have to choose between one or the other. That being said... there will be another source for Mac and Apple news soon. Keep checking here...Ken

Will be missed dearly
I only listened to IMR for the Ken Ray Daily dose. You will be missed and I think it would be great for you to have a podcast out there. You have a great way of distributing the news.I hope you will be back sooner rather than later.

Hey, there's something wrong with my iPod.
My new iPod already has a major flaw. It doesn't seem to have any Ken Ray on it. Man! I just got this thing. Great... now I have to get a new one.January 25 2006, 19:38:45 UTC 6 years ago

My two Lincoln heads
Ken,I don't think we appreciated you enough. I would have never stuck with IMR had it not been for the daily shows. And for me, the best part of the Saturday show were the segments with the free form banter among the hosts and guests.
I'm very disappointed with the powers that be at IMR for leaving us hanging about your departure. It doesn't display a very professional etiquette.
I am looking forward to what you may have in store for us in terms of a new daily mac news show. You really had a winning formula for the IMR daily news. Whatever else you might have in store, I hope that you keep this short format approach as part of your plans. It was a fun ride.
Whatever happens, all my best to you.

The king is dead, long live the king.
Sad, but happy to see you are going to get something else going. The show definitely isn't the same, I was catching up and only just now caught on. Looking forward to what you'll put out, sure it will be great.--Guy

I just found out that you'd left the show today, after missing your daily news reports for over a month. I'm glad to see that you've got a new gig and that it is looking up.
Looking forward to the new podcast.
